Marta is terrific to work with! She is fun, creative, works well with deadlines and budgets and designs for a practical and comfortable lifestyle. My husband and i both love what she's done with our home which was a "bachelor's pad" when we purchased it. She has done a great job blending my traditional style and antiques with a more contemporary home. My master bathroom remodel was my second experience working with Marta. Marta and her entire staff were very professional, very talented and loads of fun. Marta is not only a talented designer, but she is an expert at customer service. She listens to her customer needs to fully understand our likes, dislikes, wishes and functional requirements. You made us feel so involved every step of the way and never once did we feel pressured to choose something we were not comfortable with. The sense of ease and calm you gave to this project was beyond appreciated. We came in feeling so overwhelmed but knowing we had a vision for what this home really should be. After one meeting with you both, you had our style, taste and vision and expanded on it in a way we never could have and made it such a fun, exciting and easier project than we ever imagined it could be. I just got home from spending two weeks at the beach. So I’ve not seen the bathroom in the finished condition. Today I saw it all done except for the shower doors and one or two other little things. Marta Mitchell Interior Design is amazing! From the moment I met Marta the whole design experience has been both professional and enjoyable. I had moved into a new house about a year before I started working with Marta. She met with me and really listened to my thoughts and the look I was trying to achieve. I had gotten my house to a certain point but it wasn't quit there. Marta put together a plan giving me choices and suggestions on furniture, fabrics, lighting, rugs and floor layout as well as selecting some paint colors. She and her staff handled every detail professionally and timely from our first meeting until everything arrived and was in place. When we decided to remodel our kitchen, we assumed we would have to add on once again. Enter Marta Mitchell! She had the perfect plan - 2 1/2 tons of bricks removed, relocating powder and laundry rooms, etc. One project led to another and our home is truly amazing! Marta and Annelise were so calm and reassuring during the entire project. They listened and had wonderful ideas and incorporated the items we love. Marta is wonderful!! I recently bought a fairly "dated" house - walls needed to be taken down and the entire first floor needed to be updated. Marta handled the project from the start with wonderful designs, excellent ideas and she worked with the contractors from start to finish. Her knowledge of color, fabrics and furniture were fantastic and she turned my new house into the perfect home for me!
