MM Interior Design Group is headquartered in Greensboro, NC, with our west coast office based in Colorado.  MMIDG provides both commercial and residential design services. We have been in business since 1989 and have received many ASID (American Society of Interior Design) Excellence in Design Awards.  Our firm currently consists of seven full time Designers, an Office Manger, a Marketing Manager, and a Project Manager.

Interior Designer

Job Description

Interior Designer needed for full time position (40 hours per week), Monday thru Friday.  This position is based in Greensboro, NC.

Duties include:

  • Experienced Interior Designer, based in Greensboro NC, to work 40hrs/week, Monday-Friday.
  • Interact with clients, vendors, contractors, and installers
  • Drawing floor-plans on AutoCAD
  • Renderings using Sketchup
  • Space planning
  • Selecting Furniture, Fixtures and Equipment
  • Client presentations

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor Degree in Interior Architecture, or Interior Design
  • At least 5 years relevant experience
  • Proficient in AutoCAD
  • Proficient in Sketchup
  • Good Organization Skills
  • Team player

Accounting Manager (part-time)

Job Description

Accounting Manager needed part-time (15 to 20 hours per week) and offers a flexible schedule.  This position reports to the President and is based in Greensboro, NC.

Duties include the following.


    • Ensuring Accuracy
    • Journal Entries as Necessary
    • Tracking & Receiving Vendor Credits
    • Assisting with financial management (grants, investments, etc)
    • Interfacing with our Accountants

Reconciliations (Bank and CC)

Sales Tax management and payments


    • Paychex Management. Send Payroll Data to Paychex (Bi-weekly). Upload the Paychex DM file
    • Designer Commision Preparation (Monthly)

Accounts Receivable:

    • Manage invoices and payments from clients
    • Expedite payments of past due invoices

Accounts Payable:

    • Paying monthly bills (Utilities, Rent, Leases, etc)

HR Functions:

    • Employee Documentation
    • Employee Benefits Administration (Health Insurance, Witholding, etc)

Corporate Taxes:

    • Assist our Accountants as needed (Annual Preparation)

Support the MMIDG Brand and Vision:

    • Provide the President with ideas for improvement
    • Assisting with fostering Company growth and profitability
    • Developing a LEAN culture
    • Support the MMIDG Team spirit
    • Assist the Operations Manager as needed

Job Requirements:

  • Organizational skills, and good work ethic to manage a busy office
  • Accounting knowledge
  • Proven experience in office management
  • Good computer skills, including knowledge of Microsoft Office

Job Compensation Package:
