One of our favorite things about the holiday season is holiday parties… and not just attending them. Every year we look forward to decorating several of our clients homes for their own festivities. It allows us to be creative on a whole different level than our every day design work. We would love to share with you some of the highlights from this year’s holiday decor.

Chandeliers are an excellent opportunity to add unexpected holiday glamour to your home. We used fresh cut greenery, magnolia leaves, ribbons, and ornaments to make these fixtures the focal point of the space. The light bounced off the shiny ornaments and the subtle greenery adds a soft touch. It’s great to use the elevated height that the chandeliers provide so that your decor isn’t just on one level, keeping your eye moving around the room.

Of course, there are many other ways to make your home look more festive. Read below for more of our favorite holiday tips!

Here we mixed family antiques with new holiday pieces along with more fresh cuttings, festive candles, and strung beaded “berries”. Again playing with varying heights.

The mantle is the perfect focal point of the room! It draws your attention and is so beautiful to look at! With just a few pieces of fresh cuttings and candles, this home is looking very festive!

Sometimes sentimental favorite items start to look tired. Our client loved this reindeer but felt he looked a bit dated. We  simply removed the old ribbons and florals and gave hime a fresh and current look by adding some new trimmings. He worked perfect as the table centerpiece.

This gorgeous tree greeted guests as they entered the home. We highlighted the foyer, and tree, by using more fresh greens, maple leafs, lights, and ribbon to deck out the banister.

Even this guys loves to be decorated. We hope you enjoyed these pictures as much as we enjoyed creating these fun holiday decorations.
